Rhyd-y-Creuau

Last weekend was the Year 12 fieldtrip to Snowdonia
We headed for Rhyd-y-Creuau Field Studies Centre.

There's a virtual tour here

Coming up over the next few weeks will be a series of posts with resources and information regarding the field trip and the reasons why we visited Wales...
This will follow up some of the Skills ready for Paper 2 of the AS that we are preparing students for...

Geography Ambassadors

We are going to be entering a photo competition, which is being organised by the Geographical Association, with prizes of outdoor clothing and other things.
The aim is to take a picture of 'Physical Geography in your neighbourhood'....
Here's the guidelines...
The competition is open to non-Geography Ambassadors too... Started today by explaining a little bit about composition, and the use of Apps to help improve an image. I'll share some of the photos that were taken in a future post.
Ambassadors headed out to take photos of the school site with iPads.
