At a time when more than half of the world's population lives in cities, and with increasing urbanisation, CITIES are increasingly important.
The CRYSTAL is a museum for exploring the Sustainability of cities. It is sited in London's Docklands, and I was speaking with a colleague who paid a visit and said it was well worth it. This may be worth considering for a future visit.
In the meantime, Year 9 students should begin to prepare for their assessment on planning a city of the future by exploring the various areas of the museum's website.
