We spent some time in the last few days finishing off the book 'Touching the Void' in Year 7We used a special version of the book, produced by Scholastic.
There will be some questions on the exam, next week, on the book, and how the environment that the action took place in affected the story.
There was certainly a successful piece of work, with some great student ideas and maps....
Thanks for all the interesting questions and responses that you had to the film too. Some of you said that you were going to be watching the film in advance of the exams next week - watch out for the bad language...
There were plenty of discussions on Simon Yates' decision to cut the rope...
You might be able to find some clips online - I did....
Be aware that there might be some bad language in it...
