You will be contributing at least one fish to our 'fishy' EU flag.
Each fish needs to have information
related to one of the following questions.
The fish needs to have an answer to
the question as well as the question itself…
- What is happening to fish stocks in the North Sea ?
- What are quotas and why were they introduced ?
- What are the main methods by which fish are caught ? Which are the most sustainable ?
- What is aquaculture. Which fish are involved, and what problems are there with it ?
- What is meant by over-fishing and how can the problem be reduced ?
- What are the more sustainable species of fish that we should be eating more of, and which fish should we be eating less of ?
- What has happened to the numbers of UK fishermen ?
- What is fish dependence day – when does it happen ?
