Limestone Scenery ....

Year 7s have been exploring Cheddar Gorge, which is a famous limestone area, with caverns created by water over the millennia.
There are other limestone areas in the country, one of which is the Yorkshire Dales. Many of the features that you can see in this area will also be found in the area of Cheddar Gorge. This set of images by Scottish teacher Val Vannet shows some of the main features found in areas like this, particularly some of the features found in the cave systems.
